Outschool Semester Review and Giveaway + $20 credit
Hello Friends! Edit: Congratulations Kathie Hoehne! I hope you enjoy the gift card!
(let me put that $20 credit link here)
The last time I posted I was about to embark on my first foray into online, Montessori inspired hands-on teaching through the platform outschool.com. I had left my prior job because of a family members health issues and honestly had no idea what the future would hold. I have to say, the experience of teaching on Outschool was such a special privilege, in more ways than I could have hoped.
Outschool is a platform where kids can take small group classes on everything from math, social studies, Minecraft and Roblox. It has been a real gift for families who have decided to homeschool on short notice this year to have classes that are social, fun and academic.
The students were amazing, intelligent, engaged, polite, friendly... I really could go on and on without one stitch of exaggeration. We studied art, history, physics, biology and had fun every step of the way. These kids were excited to learn, eager to contribute and adaptable when the inevitable technological glitches occurred. I wish I could go back in time and tell August 2020 Sara that it was all going to be alright. That great days were ahead. We explored the world with crafts and a well developed sense of wonder and hopefully my students are a little happier and full of appreciation and gratitude for our wonderful world!
Most of my courses ran for 8 or 10 weeks and as they started to wind down I developed a few new classes while building my schedule for the spring semester. To celebrate I thought I would do two things :
1. Another giveaway! $50 Amazon gift card
2. Share $20 credit link that parents can apply to any class!
The giveaway follows the same format as the last one. Simply follow the link to this rafflecopter form, peruse the classes and comment below which class you would sign up your own child, niece, nephew, grandchild or even younger self :) On November 23 I will announce a winner and send them an amazon e-giftcard.
Sign up for outschool using this link and you automatically get $20.00 to apply to the class of your choice. Any class. It does not have to be one of my own. There are thousands of amazing classes on outschool, from baking, flower crown making to kung-fu, and a lot of classes are priced at $10.00 for a one time session. Reasonably priced fun!

Her school is 100% virtual right now so it’s been hard for her. Having the extra learning would be great right now. Thank you so much for sharing about this amazing program.
